No Response No Response None No Response No Response It's not too difficult. none I think its better than class courses in a way that I can squeeze it in anytime..and ofcourse it saves me from taking pages and pages of notes.(We save alot of paper and so we save the trees)...HURRAY...Long live EnvironmentalEngineers. none none no comments No Response starting hiccups where there, but they could be managed very easily. I had a hard time getting my profile set up with the University, but once that was done it only took me about 2 hours of playing around to become familiar with Blackboard. Difficult getting started but then so is everything else that is new. The first few times through, it was easy to get lost between drop box and e-mail and between student tools and communication. I think a better index/map would help --------------------------------------------------------------------------------

Once those problems were straightened out, things moved along smoothly. No Response No Response No Response No Response No Response got it without any problems I had two phone calls from UAF, one telling me I wasn't registered and the other telling me I had to personally come to UAF to get my account set up! Neither statement was correct. My Professor had to take care of t the situation for me. the aurora account problems were directly a result of admin problems with registration for the course. It is truely unbelivable how badly admin functions. That hasn't changed in the twenty five years since I graduated. Dr. Perkins had to notify them of the waiver in writing. The fees were waived and all is well. Well, yes. I didn't pay attention to the deadline, assuming I would be billed. (Even though this is not what the instructor said. He did say we would have to pay.) So I was dropped. No Response No Response I have been travelling without a laptop and have had to use a number of different computers, including those of friends, relatives, and public libraries. Different computers have different software capabilities and not all have appropriate software packages which can cause problems. Additionally, when software downloads are necessary, it is not always acceptable/possible to install these packages on all computers. Fortunately, i am back home now, and this should be less of an issue, and i expect this is an unusual situation. No Response It seems very difficult to get the distance library situation working properly. there are quite a few calls that need to be made in order to get a password for multiple sites. Then when I did get a password (for example the Cambridge Abstracts), the password didn't work even though I used the one the librarian supplied me. I have had a little trouble with the library because i was an FNSB resident travelling. I think this will be worked out in a straighforward manner in a few days. Astonishing!
