Tim gave a wonderful talk about the rehabilitation process for Marine Mammals at the Alaska Sea LIfe Center in Seward, AK
Tim also talked about some of the recent success stories of animals that were brought into the ASLC and released.
Along with the talk that Tim gave at the Museum of the Aleutians, Tim gave a talk at the Unalaska City High School to 30 students. Tim talked about interns that the ASLC employs every summer and encouraged UCSD kids to apply!
Tim also brought out two Harbor Seals to be released in Unalaska (Twister and Lego). Twister was found abandoned on Front Beach in Unalaska in June of 2005.
ASLC researchers put a satellite tag on Twister to track his movement/ progress.
