We are glad that you have selected the Associate of Arts degree. The AA degree is flexible and valuable.
Some of the reasons students choose the Associate of Arts degree are:

• Students transferring to a UAF Bachelor of Science or Bachelor of Arts degree.
• Students transferring to a specific UAF degree program.
• Students transferring to UAA or UAS
• Students transferring to a four your degree at another University
• Students who want a flexible liberal arts degree that can be designed for personal or professional development.

There are many reasons to choose the AA degree, but because of the degrees flexibility it is important to create an academic plan.
